Law enforcement officers have exposed a supply channel for "award" weapons for odious Russian politicians and propagandists. The illegal goods were imported from Slovakia and the occupied territories of Ukraine.

During the special operation "Black Shell," a supply channel for "award" weapons for odious Russian politicians and propagandists was exposed, the National Police reported on Tuesday, UNN writes.

"Police liquidated a supply channel for 'award' weapons for odious politicians and propagandists of the Russian Federation. Kim Jong Un, Bashar Hafez al-Assad, Dmitry Medvedev, Sergey Sobyanin, Sergey Lavrov, Ramzan Kadyrov, Steven Seagal, Yulia Chicherina, Vladimir Solovyov, Alexander Sidyakin, and Volodymyr Saldo — these are the individuals who received 'award' weapons from the leader of the so-called 'DPR' Denis Pushilin," the police reported.
According to the police, "the weapons came from two sources: they were stolen in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine or illegally imported from the Slovak Republic."
"This specifically concerns Glock-type pistols chambered for the Flobert cartridge, which, after being imported from Slovakia, were converted into full-fledged combat weapons. Subsequently, they were sold to criminals, transferred to illegal armed formations, and also used as a tool for 'rewarding' individuals who have no legal right to possess combat weapons," the police said.
The smuggling mechanisms, supply routes, and members of the organized crime group were exposed by police investigators, as indicated, back in January of this year.
"As a result of cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of Poland, some of the suspects — citizens of Ukraine — were detained at the Polish border while attempting to illegally smuggle weapons into that state. The weapons were seized, and indictments have been sent to court in Poland," the police reported.
In April of this year, police, together with the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine, conducted the second stage of the special operation "Black Shell" — more than 30 simultaneous searches in Kyiv, as well as the Kyiv, Zakarpattia, and Sumy regions. Their results confirmed the scale of illegal weapon flows directed to the temporarily occupied territories,
Police are identifying all participants in the scheme, weapon movement routes, and final recipients. The capabilities of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and international partners — Europol and the AP Weapons & Explosives analytical project — have been involved in the work.
