279 combat engagements occurred at the front, 43 of them in the Pokrovsk direction - General Staff

Over the past day, 279 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest spot, where the Defense Forces repelled 43 assaults. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to UNN.

The enemy launched three missile strikes (firing three missiles) and 74 air strikes, including dropping 232 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 10,221 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,435 shellings of settlements and our troops' positions, 57 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The aggressor carried out air strikes, particularly in the areas of the settlements of Lynove, Bachivsk, and Sloboda in the Sumy region.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck four command posts, eight areas of enemy personnel concentration, an artillery system, a drone control point, and one other important enemy target.

In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, two combat engagements took place over the past day. The enemy launched two air strikes using five guided aerial bombs and carried out 66 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including two shellings using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units eleven times near Starytsia, Lyman, Vilcha, Izbytske, and Okhrimivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders stopped four enemy attacks near Novoplatonivka, Podoly, and Kupiansk.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled 21 attempts by the invaders to advance near Derylove, Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, Ozerne, Novoselivka, and Yampol.

In the Sloviansk direction, during the past day, our defenders stopped nineteen attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kalenyky, Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Zakitne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attack in the area of the settlement of Pryvillia.

In the Konstiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out twelve attacks near Konstiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and Illinivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 43 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Kotlyne, Serhiivka, Vasylivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Novopavlivka, and Udachne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy tried to advance fourteen times in the areas of Vorone, Voskresenka, Sichneve, Hrushivske, Verbove, and Ternove.

In the Huliaipole direction, 37 attacks by the occupiers took place in the areas of Pryluky, Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Solodke, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, Zatyshshia, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried to wedge into the defense five times near Shcherbaky, Stepove, Kamianske, and Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, no offensive actions by the occupiers were recorded.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
