Zelenskyy believes that in May Ukraine will have a strong result on security guarantees.
We are approaching the point where our partners from the Baltic countries will do so. I think we can have this result with one of the countries in April. I think we can have a strong result on security guarantees in May. We have several treaties. I think in May-June we will come to agreements not only with the United States, but we will come to agreements with the Nordic countries, and there is strong support there. The participants discussed the main elements of the future document and the algorithm of actions immediately after the US Congress decides on military assistance to Ukraine.
On April 19, the U.S. House of Representatives held a procedural vote on four foreign aid bills, including one on Ukraine, which allows them to be brought to the floor of the House later.
House Speaker Mike Johnson says that the US aid bill for Ukraine will be put to a vote on Saturday, April 20 in the evening.
In total , Ukraine has already signed nine security agreements with the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, and Latvia.
