The head coach of the Ukrainian Olympic team Ruslan Rotan has released a list of players who will be preparing for the 2024 Olympic Games football tournament as part of the Ukrainian team, UNN reports citing the UAF.

On July 7, the Ukrainian Olympic team will leave Kyiv for France, where it will play two friendly matches in preparation for the Summer Games.
The Blue and Yellows are scheduled to arrive at their base at the Plaine des Sports sports complex in the Aquitaine town of Saint-Paul-le-Dax on July 8. On the same day, the training camp is scheduled to begin, which will include direct training on the field, as well as theoretical sessions.
Ruslan Rotan's team will play its first friendly match against the Egyptian Olympic team on July 14 (starting at 18:30 local time, 19:30 Kyiv time) at one of the fields of the Plaine des Sports complex.
The second game, against the Paraguayan Olympic team, will take place on July 18 (starting at 19:30 Kyiv time), also in the Aquitaine town of Agetmo, at the Alan Lanzamen Stadium.
On March 20, Ukraine learned its opponents in the soccer tournament of the 2024 Olympics. Being in the fourth basket, it got Argentina, Morocco and the third Asian team, which turned out to be Iraq. The blue and yellows will play their quartet matches on July 24, 27 and 30.
The top two teams in Group B will take on the representatives of Group A.

The format of the Olympic tournament is traditional: four groups of four teams compete, with the two strongest teams going to the playoffs, followed by quarterfinals, semifinals, a match for third place, and the final (August 9, Paris, Parc des Princes).
A total of 16 teams will take part in the tournament: France as the host, three teams will represent Europe (Ukraine, Spain, Israel), three - Africa (Morocco, Egypt, Mali), three - Asia (Japan, Uzbekistan, Iraq), two - South America (Paraguay, Argentina), two - CONCACAF (USA, Dominican Republic), one - Oceania (New Zealand), and the winner of the intercontinental playoffs (Guinea).
