The Drone Coalition has allocated 20 million euros for reconnaissance drones for Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense said on Monday, UNN writes.
Partner countries of the Drone Coalition have decided to allocate 20 million euros from a joint fund to purchase tactical-level reconnaissance UAVs (ISR) for the Defense Forces. The delivery of equipment is expected within three months," the Ministry of Defense said.
The prompt response and flexibility in making this decision is important, especially now, when they are very much needed by the Defense Forces, said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development Kateryna Chernogorenko.
In February, the Drone Coalition launched the third international tender for multi-rotor reconnaissance drones. For the second time, Ukrainian developers were able to participate in it. The application period for the tender has already ended, and the first stage of selection is underway.

The Drone Coalition was formed in February 2024 during the 19th meeting in the "Ramstein" format. This idea was proposed by Latvia. Together with Great Britain, they coordinate the work of the initiative. It now includes 18 countries: Latvia, Great Britain, Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Estonia, Italy, New Zealand, Canada, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Germany, Sweden and Ukraine.
