Rescue operations completed in Kyiv: 24 people killed, including three children. Zelenskyy urged partners to increase pressure on the Russian Federation and provide air defense systems.

In Kyiv, the Russians practically demolished an entire entrance of a building with their missile, and such a Russia can never be normalized; pressure must be applied, and anti-ballistic defenses are always needed. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy following the completion of rescue operations at the site of the Russian strike on a high-rise building in the capital, UNN reports.
Details
"In Kyiv, the search and rescue operation at the site of the Russian strike on a residential building has been completed. Our rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine worked continuously for over a day. The Russians practically demolished an entire entrance with their missile. 24 people were killed by this strike, including three children. My condolences to the families and loved ones," Zelenskyy wrote on social media.
The President emphasized that all those who were injured and lost their homes must be provided with the necessary assistance. "In total, 48 people were injured in Kyiv due to yesterday's attack, including two children. I thank the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and everyone who liquidated the consequences of this Russian attack and helped people," he noted.
Such a Russia can never be normalized. A Russia that purposefully destroys lives and hopes to remain unpunished. Pressure must be applied
The President pointed out: "It is Ukraine that protects Europe and the world so that such strikes, where children die, do not spread further."
"Therefore, support for the defenders of life must continue. Anti-ballistic defenses are always needed. I thank the partners who continue to invest in PURL and are developing our anti-ballistic coalition. All of this must be implemented. I am grateful to everyone who did not remain silent and condemned this brutal strike," Zelenskyy noted.
