Ukraine approves new symbols of the Foreign Intelligence Service

The president approved the emblem and flag of the SVR of Ukraine with unique elements, including a QR code and the motto "Truth wins everything". The symbols will reflect belonging to the department and will be used at official events.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has approved the emblem and flag of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 838/2024 of December 9, reports UNN.
"The emblem of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine is a graphite-gray straight equilateral cross with divergent sides, bordered by two Silver Springs," the decree says.
It is noted that in the center of the Cross is a blue round medallion with the image of the sign of the princely state of Vladimir The Great, and the medallion has two Silver Springs, between which on a graphite - gray background there is an inscription in a circle "Omnia Vincit Veritas ("Truth conquers all") and a decorative dot.
"Between the sides of the Cross is an image of three crossed arrows with points up and a key with a beard down. The key's beard is stylized as a QR code on the official website of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. The image of the sign of the princely state of Vladimir The Great, arrows, keys, as well as the letters of the inscription and the period are gold," the decree says.
The SVR flag was also approved, which is a rectangular panel of graphite-gray color with a width-to-length ratio of 2:3.
"In the upper left quarter of the flag – two equal horizontal stripes of blue and yellow colors, in the center of the free edge of the banner – the emblem of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. The height of the logo image is 2/3 of the width of the panel. Both sides of the flag cloth are mirror - identical," the decree says.
The document states that the emblem and flag are official distinctive symbols of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, indicating belonging to the foreign intelligence service of Ukraine.
The emblem is depicted on the flag, can be reproduced on administrative buildings and structures of the SVR, on departmental incentive distinctions and insignia on the uniforms of military personnel.
The flag of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine can be installed on administrative buildings of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, in the Office of the chairman of the SVR and can be used during official events.
"Images of the emblem and flag of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine can be reproduced on printed, advertising, information and souvenir products, in film, video and photo materials issued by the Foreign Intelligence Service, as well as in other cases by the decision of the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine," the document says.

In March of this year, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky replaced the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, appointing Oleg Ivashchenko to the post, before dismissing Alexander Litvinenko from this post.
