According to the minister, units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system continue to eliminate the consequences of the severe weather.

The State Emergency Service rescuers carried out over 400 deployments the day before — sawing trees, dismantling dangerous structures, and helping victims. "As a result of the storm, eight people were injured, including a child. In Zaporizhzhia, gale-force winds damaged the roof of a concert hall building right during an artist's performance: rescuers promptly dismantled the damaged structures and ensured the safety of the audience," the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.

After the storm began, police, according to him, increased patrolling to ensure traffic flow at the sites of fallen trees and structures. Detours were organized on blocked sections so that rescuers and utility services could promptly remove obstacles.

"Restoration work will continue today. Our services are not only removing dangerous structures but also assisting power engineers," Klymenko noted.

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, wind gusts will be observed across most of the country today as well. "A Level I danger (yellow) has been declared. We urge citizens to be cautious!" the minister indicated.
