As a result of the Russian attack on Zhytomyr region, the enterprise "Kromberg & Schubert Zhytomyr" sustained significant damage and destruction. Because of this, the company, which employs 3,500 people, has temporarily suspended operations for an indefinite period. No employees were injured. This was reported by Vitalii Bunечko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, according to UNN.

According to the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, one of the region's budget-generating enterprises was damaged. "Kromberg & Schubert Zhytomyr" has 100% German investment, has operated in the Zhytomyr region for 11 years, and provides jobs for around 3,500 people.

The consequences of the enemy attack have now been contained by the State Emergency Service. An investigative and оперативе team of law enforcement agencies is working at the site. The Regional Military Administration, together with local self-government bodies, is already working to find possible ways to assist the strategic investor.

Due to the extensive damage, the enterprise is forced to temporarily suspend operations for an indefinite period. The possible timeframe for resuming operations will become clear after the technical assessment is completed and the full scope of the necessary restoration work is determined.
