More than 68,000 consumers lost power as a result of a nighttime attack by Russian UAVs. The power outage schedules have been reduced, but restrictions are still in place throughout the day in different regions of Ukraine.
Due to a nighttime enemy drone attack, there are power outages in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. In Odesa region, three settlements are without power due to a thunderstorm. The number of power outage schedules has been reduced at certain hours during the day. This was reported on Friday by NPC Ukrenergo, UNN reports.
Consequences of enemy attack
"At night, Russian UAVs attacked Ukrenergo's power facilities in Zhytomyr and Chernihiv regions. Due to the damage to the equipment, more than 68 thousand consumers in certain districts of Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions lost power. In the morning, about 30 thousand consumers in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions were without power. The process of restoring power supply is underway," Ukrenergo said.
Consumption
Today, on July 26, the restrictions have been in place since seven o'clock in the morning and will last until the end of the day.
"From 7:00 to 13:00, from 18:00 to 20:00, and from 23:00 to 24:00, one stage of outages will be applied. From 13:00 to 18:00 and from 20:00 to 23:00 - two stages," the company said.
De-energization
Due to bad weather, 3 settlements in Odesa region were cut off from electricity in the morning.
Due to the hostilities and other reasons, 571 settlements are completely and partially de-energized.
Due to hostilities: there are power outages in Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Donetsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
