The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the appointment of Ruslan Oliinyk as the First Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. The appointment was announced by the Permanent Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk, as reported by UNN.

Details

In his new position, Ruslan Oliinyk will be responsible for coordinating the work of the structural units of the Regional State Administration. He will also be involved in implementing key regional programs and assisting the head of the region in resolving socio-economic issues.

The appointment took place within the framework of the government's personnel decisions to strengthen regional governance.

Ruslan Oliinyk was born on September 27, 1985, in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

In 2020-2021, he served as Deputy General Director of the "Ukrtruboprom" Association of Enterprises. In addition, in 2020-2022, he held the position of Security Advisor to the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. In 2021-2025, he was Vice-Rector for Innovative Development at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology.

In 2022, he was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in 2023, he became the commandant of the region and the first deputy head of the operational headquarters of the Defense Council, where he dealt with regional security issues.

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Mstyslav Banik as Deputy Minister of Defense, and Yuriy Myronenko as the department's Inspector General. Banik will be responsible for transparent procurement.
