A flock of sheep crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border twice to graze, and after the second attempt, Polish border guards called it a "relapse.

At night, the flock of sheep crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border and began to graze peacefully. Polish border guards called the expedition of this "team" a "relapse", because this is their second attempt to enter the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to RMF24.

The information about the "unusual crossing of the Polish-Ukrainian border" was provided by the Bieszczady Border Guard Department. It took place on a section guarded by border guards from the Korczowa outpost.

"The devices alerted us to the approach of figures to the border line. A flock of sheep was recognized on the monitoring screens. The animals crossed the border and began to graze. The uniformed officers, who knew the border area and its inhabitants, notified the owner.  Encouraged by the owner's calls, the herd returned to Poland after a while," said Piotr Zakielarz, spokesman for the BOSG commander.

He noted that the animals were brought to the pen.

The border guard noted that "in this case we are talking about a relapse".

"As it turned out, this is not the first border expedition of this 'team'. Less than two weeks ago, the sheep reached the border road. However, they did not cross the border then," added Lieutenant Piotr Zakelarz.
