Over the past day, 174 combat engagements and the enemy's use of almost 9,000 kamikaze drones were recorded. The Defense Forces eliminated 1040 occupiers and 82 artillery systems.
On the front, on April 20, there were 174 combat engagements. Russian occupation forces launched one missile strike, using two missiles, and carried out 78 air strikes, dropping 239 guided aerial bombs. This is reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy also used 8953 kamikaze drones and carried out 3232 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 101 from multiple rocket launchers.
Air strikes were carried out, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Havrylivka, Malomykhailivka, Kolomiytsi, Pokrovske of the Dnipropetrovsk region; Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhenka, Rybalske, Lisne, Rivne, Novoselevka, Charivne, Dolynka, Zelene, Zarichne, Malokaterynivka, Orikhiv of the Zaporizhzhia region.
Aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 10 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment and three artillery pieces.
In the Northern-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy launched 5 air strikes and dropped nine guided aerial bombs yesterday. He also carried out 73 shellings of Ukrainian troop positions and settlements, two of which were with multiple rocket launch systems. Three enemy assault actions were recorded.
In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders five times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory and Vilcha.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor attacked 17 times in the directions of the settlements of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Kivsharivka and Novoosinove.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to break into the Ukrainian defense four times, attacking in the directions of the settlements of Chervonyi Stav, Drobycheve, Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk direction, during yesterday, Ukrainian defenders stopped two attempts by Russian occupiers to advance in the area of Yampil and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces once in the area of Minkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Yablunivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Novopavlivka, Stepanivka and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 30 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Filya and towards the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Nove Shakhove, Kucheriv Yar, Vasylivka, Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked five times in the directions of the settlements of Kalynivske, Oleksandrograf and Zlahoda.
In the Huliaipole direction, there were 22 attacks by the occupiers towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Hirke, Myrny, Staroukrainka, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipilske and in the area of Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct active operations.
In the Prydniprovsky direction, the enemy carried out three futile assault actions towards the Antonivsky bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
The losses of the Russian occupiers yesterday amounted to 1040 people. Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 7 armored combat vehicles, 82 artillery systems, one multiple rocket launcher, 1905 operational-tactical level UAVs and 192 units of automotive equipment.
