Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi convened a meeting with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and the Minister of Finance to discuss the funding needs of the Defense Forces. The government is seeking additional resources, including through international assistance.
Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi held a separate meeting with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the Minister of Finance, as well as representatives of the security agencies. They discussed the actual updated need for financing the Defense Forces through the end of this year, reports UNN.
Today, we held a separate meeting with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the Minister of Finance, the acting Minister of Defense, the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the Minister of Internal Affairs. We discussed the actual updated need for financing the Defense Forces through the end of this year. The Government, and the Ministry of Finance directly, are working to fully cover all necessary expenditures
According to him, all domestic tax revenues, as before, are being directed to the needs of the security and defense sector. The Government will work to find additional resources, including by securing assistance from our international partners.
A vision for financing the Defense Forces for next year has already been developed. We are working on the comprehensive preparation of the 2027 Budget
