The Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 220 million for the needs of the Defense Forces. The funds will go towards training the National Guard, arming the Ministry of Defense, and intelligence.

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to allocate an additional UAH 220 million for the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, writes UNN.
Details
The head of government explained that these are funds that remained unused in budget expenditures for financing the National Commission for State Regulation in the Fields of Energy and Utilities.
Where the money will go:
- UAH 100 million will be used for training personnel of the National Guard;
- UAH 70 million – for the Ministry of Defense for development, procurement, modernization, and repair of weapons;
- UAH 50 million – for the activities of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Defense funding is an unconditional priority. Therefore, funds saved under other budget programs are directed, in accordance with established procedures, to strengthen the security and defense capability of Ukraine
