German Federal Minister of the Interior Alexander Dobrindt stated that the investigation is considering all possible versions of the event.

"We assume that, most likely, it was arson. The priority now is to continue the investigation in all directions to determine the motive for this arson and identify those responsible,"

he said.

This is not the first such case in the country this year. In January, an arson attack on an energy facility in Berlin left about 50,000 households and 2,000 businesses without electricity. At that time, the Volcano Group activist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
