Enemy used jet drones against Kharkiv for the first time - Terekhov

Russia shelled the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv 11 times with new jet UAVs. As a result of the hits, two women and three children were injured in the city and region.

The enemy used jet drones for the first time to attack Kharkiv; the city and region suffered a series of attacks. This was reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov, according to UNN.

According to him, since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have shelled the city 11 times. All hits were recorded in the Kyiv district. A significant part of the drones were jet drones, which had not been used in Kharkiv before.
"Most of the enemy UAVs were jet-powered, and the enemy used them against Kharkiv for the first time. There could have been more hits, but thanks to the work of the military, some of the enemy drones were shot down," Terekhov reported.
He also noted that new enemy drones continue to be detected in the suburbs, which may be moving towards the city, and urged residents not to ignore air raid alerts.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration confirmed that the enemy continues to attack the city with Shahed-type attack drones.
According to him, a direct hit on a residential building in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv was recorded. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out on the second and third floors.
SES units are working on site, and the aftermath of the attack is being eliminated. Together with the National Police, a door-to-door survey is being conducted to identify victims and provide assistance.
Two casualties have been reported – women aged 61 and 52. They sustained blast injuries and are receiving medical assistance.
In addition, settlements in the region came under attack. As reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, three children were injured in the village of Lymanivka, Lozova district, as a result of the attack.
Girls aged 12, 14, and 15 sustained injuries. According to medics, their condition is not serious, hospitalization was not required – assistance was provided on the spot.
The situation in the region remains tense, and the use of jet drones indicates a change in the tactics of Russian attacks on Kharkiv.
