Due to Russian shelling, 126,000 households in Dnipropetrovsk region were left without power — DTEK

As a result of numerous Russian strikes on energy facilities in Dnipropetrovsk region, around 126,000 households have been left without electricity. This was reported by UNN, citing DTEK.

Power outages were recorded in Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrov, and a number of neighboring settlements. According to the company, enemy attacks on August 5 caused significant damage to the region's energy infrastructure. As a result, a large number of household consumers in several communities across Dnipropetrovsk region were left without electricity.

Energy workers began emergency recovery efforts as soon as the security situation allowed specialists to reach the damaged facilities and begin repairs.

At the same time, DTEK warned that the scale of the damage is significant, so fully restoring the electricity supply will take time. The company has not yet announced an exact deadline for completing the work.

Specialists are inspecting the damaged equipment, determining the scope of repairs required, and gradually restoring the operation of the energy infrastructure. The priority task remains returning electricity to the homes of residents of the affected settlements.
