This new radar program will not only improve our awareness of deep space, but will also help protect our space assets with our closest partners
The publication notes that plans to build a radar station to track Darc satellites in Britain were announced three years ago. At the time, the government emphasized that it was a national priority.
Darc is a multinational project that has its origins in the Aukus defense pact between the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. Although the main part of the Aukus project is the construction of new nuclear submarines for the Australian and British navies, defense cooperation between the three countries has gradually grown as a result of the close ties required for the transfer of sensitive technologies
