The Armed Forces of Ukraine are making progress in key areas: Kupyansk, Huliaipole, Sloviansk, and Pokrovsk. At the same time, Russian troops, despite attempts to advance, are not succeeding in any. This is stated in the report of the Institute for the Study of War, reports UNN.
Kupyansk direction
As analysts note, Ukrainian troops recently advanced in the Kupyansk direction.
Assessment of the advance of Ukrainian troops: Geolocation videos published on April 10 show that Ukrainian troops recently advanced northeast of Pishchane (southeast of Kupyansk)
It is noted that on April 9 and 10, Russian troops attacked near Kupyansk itself; east of Kupyansk near Petropavlivka; southeast of Kupyansk near Pishchane and Kurylivka, as well as in the direction of Novoosinove and Kivsharivka; and south of Kupyansk in the direction of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi.
One of the Russian "war correspondents" claimed that Ukrainian troops counterattacked north of Kupyansk. On April 10, Russian troops continued offensive operations in the Borova direction but did not advance
Sloviansk direction
Analysts also claim that Ukrainian troops recently advanced in the Sloviansk direction.
Geolocation videos published on April 10 indicate the advance of Ukrainian troops in the central part of Yampil (southeast of Lyman).
However, on April 10, Russian troops continued offensive operations in the Kostiantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical direction but did not advance.
Pokrovsk direction
Geolocation videos published on April 9 show that Ukrainian troops recently advanced south of Hryshyne (northwest of Pokrovsk).
At the same time, on April 10, Russian troops continued offensive operations in the Novopavlivka and Oleksandrivka directions but did not advance.
Huliaipole direction
In the southern part of Dobropillia (northwest of Huliaipole), Ukrainian forces made a minor but noticeable advance. Geolocated videos from April 9 confirm this progress, which makes it difficult for Russian troops to hold their positions in the region.
