Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a coordination online meeting with the leaders of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Denmark. The main topics of the negotiations were security guarantees for Ukraine, long-term support for the army, and increased pressure on Russia. This was reported by UNN with reference to Zelenskyy's Telegram channel, Office of the President of Ukraine.

It is noted that during the meeting with the Presidents of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, Estonia, Alar Karis, and the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of security guarantees for Ukraine in case of a repeated Russian attack.

According to the Ukrainian president, the basis of the guarantees should be a strong Ukrainian army, which requires stable and long-term financing, arms supplies, and weapons production.

When we talk about security guarantees, we need clear answers: who will help us defend ourselves on land, in the air, and at sea if Russia attacks again

- said the President of Ukraine.

"Russia refused to stop the killings – they even said 'no' to President Trump. We see negative signals from Russia regarding a possible summit at the leader level. Frankly, we believe that Putin is still only interested in continuing this war," the Ukrainian leader added.

He emphasized that the US is ready to participate in providing security guarantees together with Europe.

We agreed with President Trump that America will be part of the security guarantees. This is good, and it is an extremely important decision. President Trump believes that Europeans should lead this process, but America is ready to join and help coordinate it

- Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.

The President of Lithuania noted that everyone understands: the Russian leader does not want peace. His actions indicate that he is trying to occupy as much Ukrainian territory as possible. According to Nausėda, the only way to achieve peace is through force, particularly through sanctions.

The Estonian president supported the idea of clearly outlining each country's obligations in the security guarantee system.

The Prime Minister of Denmark noted that almost two weeks have passed since the summit in Washington, but there are no signs that Russia is ready for negotiations at the leader level. That is why, in her opinion, it is now important to increase pressure on Russia.

Frederiksen also emphasized the importance of supporting the Ukrainian defense industry, which is capable of increasing weapons production with sufficient funding.
