Ukraine receives more than 2.3 thousand tons of power equipment after Russian attacks resume

Ukraine received more than 2,300 tons of energy equipment from 14 countries to repair and restore facilities damaged by Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure.

Following the resumption of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, Ukraine has received more than 2,300 tons of energy equipment from its partners, the Energy Ministry said on Friday, UNN reports.

Following the renewed Russian attacks on the energy sector, 184 cargoes of humanitarian aid in the form of energy equipment with a total weight of 2,335.8 tons have arrived in Ukraine under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy.

The equipment received includes transformers, solar panels, generators, as well as electric motors, gas pipes, cables and other equipment needed for repairs.

Reportedly, 14 countries provided assistance: Austria, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

According to the Ministry of Energy, about 1,900 tons of the equipment has already been distributed among 57 energy companies that suffered from enemy attacks.
