8 facilities, including those destroyed by Russian troops, have been put into operation in Kyiv region, and more than 10 more will be put into operation over the next month as part of large-scale reconstruction work.

Large-scale reconstruction is underway in the Kyiv region. We have commissioned 8 facilities, including those that were destroyed by Russian troops. More than 10 more will be commissioned over the next month. This was reported on Facebook by Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, according to UNN .

According to the head of RMA, it has been put into operation:

2 apartment buildings

  • м. Irpin, 42 Davydchuk Street. This is the first of 18 houses that have been restored at the expense of United24 , a global initiative of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The fundraiser for the restoration of the house was opened by the famous French director Michel Azanavicius. Before the full-scale Russian invasion, more than 300 people lived in the five-story building;
  • м. Bucha, 2 Enerhetykiv Street. The house was restored at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. The building was damaged during active hostilities in the Kyiv region. The facade of this five-story building with 80 apartments was severely damaged, windows and balconies were smashed. In total, 84 objects are being restored at the expense of the FLN, 48 of which are being restored by CRMA.

4 private houses in Bucha district in the following villages:

  • Kalynivka;
  • Rozhov;
  • Sytnyaki;
  • Lipovka.

The houses were restored as part of the regional program. Each of the houses is 70 square meters in size. A number of works were carried out at the facilities: the territory was cleared, electricity, water, sewerage and gas supply networks were installed; the houses were furnished.

 According to Kravchenko, more than 90 private houses destroyed by the Russians will be rebuilt as part of this regional program. Residents of 15 communities in 5 districts of the region will receive new homes.

2 shelter

  • in the Byshiv Academic Lyceum (Fastiv district) on more than 400 square meters;
  • in the Borodyansky Professional Agricultural Lyceum (Buchansky district) by almost 200 square meters.

They were built as part of the regional program for the protection of civilians. In total, there will be 18 such shelters under this program.

Other projects are reportedly underway in Kyiv region. In particular, the private sector in Irpin opposite the Irpinski Lypky residential complex, 5 high-rise buildings in Irpin and Horenka are being restored at the expense of IOM. The European Investment Bank and the Energy Efficiency Fund are also financing the restoration of a number of facilities. The eRestoration program is also being implemented.

In total, according to Kravchenko, more than 29,000 facilities have been damaged or destroyed as a result of Russian aggression in the region. More than 17.5 thousand have been fully or partially rebuilt.

Kyiv region is the first among the regions to be rebuilt at a frantic pace. Apartment and private houses, schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, infrastructure, shelters. We are building everything we need to return people home and provide them with the necessary social conditions.
