"Rustem Umerov's report on the results of the first stage of work with our partners in the Middle East and Gulf region. It is important that Ukrainian military expertise is recognized, and the combat experience of our soldiers becomes a strong part of protecting partners. Every nation deserves security, and we are ready to promptly and effectively support those who support our state and independence. This applies to protection against strike and other types of drones in the sky, as well as solving security tasks at sea – Ukrainian experience in the Black Sea can be applied to other globally important sea routes," Zelenskyy noted on social media.
At this stage, Ukraine is in communication regarding security with Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. We have requests for cooperation with Iraq. Today, we discussed the potential for joint work with the states of the Caucasus, as well as East and Southeast Asia. There are substantive requests from African states
Security agreements in Europe
We are also preparing the groundwork for deeper security agreements in Europe – we expect to achieve results this week. I have instructed the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to finalize drafts of several new security agreements and prepare them for signing. Glory to Ukraine!
