Zelenskyy signs law to suspend foreign debt payments until October

President Zelenskyy has signed a law allowing the government to suspend external debt payments until October 1, 2024. The law was passed by the Verkhovna Rada on July 18.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law that gives the Cabinet of Ministers the right to suspend payments on external public debt until October 1, 2024. UNN reports this with reference to the Verkhovna Rada.
"31.07.2024 - returned with the signature of the President of Ukraine," the document's status report reads.
This law shall enter into force on the day following its publication.
Addendum
On July 18, the Verkhovna Rada passed a draft lawthat gives the Cabinet of Ministers the right to suspend payments on the external public debt until October 1, 2024.
