Two key US negotiators on the Iranian conflict arrived around 2:30 p.m. ET, likely after traveling from Miami to Washington. It is currently unclear whether direct talks between American and Iranian officials will take place in Pakistan in the coming days.
Political meetings are expected at the White House in the afternoon, including with Vice President J.D. Vance, as the administration weighs its next steps amid a shaky ceasefire that Trump says will expire Wednesday night.
CNN cameras also captured other high-ranking officials, such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, arriving at the White House in the past two hours.
