The 1st Separate Center of the USF has established fire control over Donetsk Airport. Shahed launchers and enemy logistics on the airfield territory have been destroyed.

The 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) (14th Regiment) has established fire control over the Donetsk Airport (DAP), conducting the first operation of its kind in modern history. This was reported by UNN with reference to the center's message on Telegram.

It is noted that the occupiers turned DAP into a military-logistics hub and a key platform for launching "Shahed" strike UAVs.
"Our unit is systematically burning out the enemy's infrastructure, making the functioning of the airfield impossible. Our strike drone operators are destroying launchers, transport vehicles, and eliminating crews directly on the runway. In parallel, we are conducting a systematic hunt for mobile fire groups and enemy air defenses, forcing the enemy to cancel sorties,"
It is indicated that by striking engineering equipment, fuel tankers, and logistics nodes, the Ukrainian military is completely degrading the airfield ecosystem. As a result, "Shahed" launchers have been eliminated, and construction cranes, enemy motor vehicles, and equipment warehouses have been destroyed.
"Fire control of DAP, carried out by the 1st SC, is an example of an asymmetric operation in which the enemy's operational-strategic plans were disrupted by exceptionally small forces. This is what makes us who we are,"
The center added that not long ago, the occupiers felt safe at the airport and were planning terrorist attacks on Ukrainian cities.
"From now on, we have turned Donetsk Airport into a trap for the enemy. There is no safe rear for the occupiers. It is impossible to hide or protect oneself," the Ukrainian military concluded.
Recall
In March, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the AFU struck enemy positions in the occupied territories, including the area of the Donetsk Airport—UAV launchers, air defense systems, and warehouses came under attack.
