Europe cannot feel safe without Ukraine. Just look at the figures announced by the President: 110 Ukrainian brigades with invaluable combat experience and 82 brigades in all other European countries combined – against the Russian horde of 220 brigades. Meanwhile, the Russian army is only growing. Only together with Ukraine will Europe be protected, and all Europeans should know this

– said Igor Shchedrin, co-author of the petition.

The document calls on the European Parliament to recommend:

  • introduce an accelerated procedure for Ukraine's accession to the EU;
    • provide for targeted funding in the EU budget for Ukraine's integration, its economic recovery, military-technical cooperation and reforms;
      • form a clear roadmap for EU enlargement by 2030 with clear indicators and steps.

        Recall

        European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has called on the European Parliament to step up efforts to accelerate Ukraine's accession to the EU. After all, Ukraine's integration is not only Kyiv's political aspiration, but also the strongest guarantee of security for the entire continent.
