The Ukraine national minifootball team defeated Georgia (4:0) in the 1/4 finals of the European Championship 2026 and advanced to the semifinals of the tournament, where they will face Hungary on Wednesday, June 3, UNN reports.

Ukraine opened the scoring as early as the 12th minute: Oleksandr Kolesnykov took a throw-in, and Mykhailo Hrytsyna directed the ball into the net with his knee. In the 19th minute, Hrytsyna doubled the lead, again following a throw-in from Kolesnykov. 

In the 26th minute, Hrytsyna completed a hat-trick, converting a one-on-one chance against the goalkeeper. Oleksandr Kolesnykov once again provided the assist.

Kolesnykov put the finishing touch on the match with a powerful strike from a free kick. The final whistle confirmed the victory for our national team, which advanced to the Euro 2026 semifinals to face Hungary, who defeated Bulgaria 4:0. 

The remaining two semifinalists will be determined today in the matches between Romania vs. Serbia and Czech Republic vs. Azerbaijan.

The match between Ukraine and Hungary will take place on Wednesday, June 3, at 20:15. The match will be broadcast live by the Kyivstar TV service.
