Trump announced the continuation of negotiations with Iran despite reports of their suspension. Netanyahu assured him of the refusal to send troops into Beirut.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that negotiations with Iran are continuing, despite Iranian state media claiming earlier that day that Tehran had halted talks due to Israeli attacks in Lebanon, UNN reports, citing CNN.
"Negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are continuing at a rapid pace," Trump stated on the social network Truth Social.
Earlier, Trump and the administration stated that they often receive conflicting messages from Iran both publicly and privately.
Shortly before his pledge regarding the continuation of negotiations, Trump also posted on Truth Social about a productive conversation with Benjamin Netanyahu, during which the Israeli Prime Minister stated that he would not send troops to Beirut.
