Since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 70 times. The most active hostilities continue in the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk directions.
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 70 times. The enemy is actively operating on the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk directions, UNN reports, citing the General Staff's summary.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Korenyok, Ryzhivka, Volfyne, Sopych, Vilna Sloboda, Neskuchne, Kucherovka, Khliborob, Yastrubshchyna were affected; in the Chernihiv region – Polyushkine, Senkivka. Kucherovka, Stari Virky, and Tovstodubove were subjected to airstrikes.
On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the occupiers stormed the positions of our defenders once, carried out 20 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.
On the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the invaders tried to break through the defense five times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Fyholivka, and towards Zarubynka, Hoptivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
On the Kupiansk direction, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Cherneshchyna, Lyman, and in the area of Novoselivka. Two attacks are ongoing.
On the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks towards the settlements of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Pyskunivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out one attack in the area of Nykyforivka.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, our defenders repelled eight attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia.
On the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 21 times to dislodge our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Toretske, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filia, and towards the settlements of Vilne, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne, Serhiivka, Novopavlivka. Two combat engagements are ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy tried to advance three times towards Kalynivske and in the area of Zlahoda. Two attacks are still ongoing.
On the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled eight enemy attacks towards the settlements of Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Charivne, and Huliaipilske.
On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders three times in the areas of Stepove and Plavni.
On the Prydniprovskyi direction, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.
No significant changes in the situation are currently occurring in other directions. No attempts by the enemy to advance were recorded, the General Staff summarized.
