According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, during his visit to the United States, three key topics were discussed, namely unblocking military and financial assistance from American partners, US investments in the Ukrainian economy, and the use of Russian frozen assets.
We have finally seen progress in unblocking US aid. The bill provides for $61 billion to support Ukraine
According to the information, a significant portion of this amount will be earmarked for military needs, $7.8 billion for budget support, and more than $1.5 billion for economic assistance.
During his visit, Denys Shmyhal also held personal meetings with key Democratic and Republican leaders in Congress, including Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, Mitchell McConnell, Roger Wicker and the Senate Ukrainian Caucus.
