The President of Ukraine congratulated Oleksandr Usyk on his victory over Tyson Fury and retention of the title of absolute world boxing champion. Zelensky emphasized the importance of this victory for the whole of Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine has congratulated boxer Oleksandr Usyk on his victory in the fight with British boxer Tyson Fury, who retained the title of absolute world boxing champion. Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted his congratulations on Telegram, UNN reports.
Victory! So important and so necessary for all of us now
He emphasized that by retaining his championship belts, Oleksandr proves that we are Ukrainians and will not give up ours. And no matter how hard it was, we will win. Whether in the ring, on the battlefield, or in the diplomatic arena, we will fight and we will not give up ours.
