Russian drone attack on Kharkiv and suburbs leaves 4 injured

"Russian UAVs attacked the regional center and suburbs — 4 women were injured," the State Emergency Service reported.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, in the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv on June 1 at around 00:25, a UAV hit garages near an apartment building. Two garages were completely destroyed. Residential buildings and cars were also damaged. Two women aged 49 and 34 were injured, and a 65-year-old woman was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.

As indicated by the State Emergency Service, as a result of one of the hits in a residential quarter of the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv, a fire broke out in the destroyed garages. Rescuers liquidated the fire centers.

In the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city, according to the prosecutor's office, at approximately 02:35, a UAV (preliminarily a "Molniya") hit a tree near residential buildings. Windows were blown out in three private houses. In the Slobidskyi district, a hit on the ground near a public transport stop was recorded. Windows in apartments of a residential building were damaged.

In Bohodukhiv on May 31 at around 22:40, a fire broke out in a private house as a result of a drone attack. A 39-year-old woman was injured; she was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.

For these strikes, the Russian army, according to preliminary data, used "Geran-2" type UAVs, the prosecutor's office reported.

In addition, on June 1 at around 01:10, preliminarily, a "Molniya" UAV hit an apartment on the fifth floor of an apartment building in Bohodukhiv. Several other apartments were damaged. No information about casualties was received.

During the day, according to data from the head of the RMA Syniehubov, 9 people were injured as a result of enemy shelling. In Kharkiv, according to him, women aged 34, 58, 65, and 76 were injured.
