Russian forces have used guided aerial bombs to strike Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, as UNN reports.

According to him, until now, KABs posed a threat only to frontline communities of the Synelnykove district, while Pavlohrad was subjected to attacks by missiles and strike drones.

"Until today, guided aerial bombs were a threat to the frontline communities of Synelnykove district. Pavlohrad lived under missiles and 'Shaheds' but did not know KABs. Now the enemy is modernizing these bombs and reaching deeper with them," Lukashuk noted.

He emphasized that this is a new reality for the residents of Pavlohrad and urged them not to ignore air raid signals, to carefully monitor reports from the Air Force and monitoring channels, and to immediately proceed to shelters.

"Unfortunately, this is a new reality for Pavlohrad. Therefore, I ask the residents of Pavlohrad: do not ignore the alarms. Carefully follow the reports of the Air Force and monitoring publics. Notifications should always be turned on. Immediately go to shelter. If there is none nearby, do not stay outside," the head of the regional council emphasized.

Lukashuk also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
