Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 8 ballistic missiles, 4 cruise missiles, one Kh-31P, 151 drones, 3 ballistic missiles and 129 drones were shot down or suppressed, cruise missiles did not reach their targets, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of July 16 (from 18:00 July 15) the enemy attacked with 8 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region, russia, 4 Kh-22/32 cruise missiles from the Black Sea area, 1 Kh-31P anti-radiation missile, 5 "Banderol" type loitering munitions and 146 Shahed-type attack UAVs (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas and "Parody" type decoy drones from the directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo – russia, Donetsk – TOT, Gvardiyske – TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 3 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and 129 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other types of drones in the north, south, center and east of the country. Hits were recorded from 5 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, one Kh-31P anti-radiation missile and 16 attack UAVs at 15 locations, as well as the fall of shot-down (debris) at 7 locations. The Kh-22/32 cruise missiles did not reach their targets

The attack continues, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
