It is noted that as a result of the enemy shelling, fires broke out in the Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the city. About 150 rescuers and 27 units of fire and rescue equipment worked at the impact sites.

On the night of July 16, Russian troops launched another strike on Kyiv with ballistic missiles, indicated the capital's police.

According to data from the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, as of 8 a.m. on July 16, two dead and five injured were known as a result of the Russian Federation attack. Among the dead are two men. The 16-year-old son of one of the deceased also sustained injuries. The boy has fractures and a traumatic amputation of his arm. 

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported 2 dead and 6 injured.

Office buildings, warehouses, nearby parked cars, and windows in a residential building were damaged.
