Russia attacked Ukraine with 127 drones - air defense destroyed 97 targets

At night, Russia launched 127 drones at Ukraine, 97 of which were destroyed or suppressed by air defense. Twenty-seven hits were recorded at 22 locations.
During the night of August 23, Russian occupying forces attacked Ukraine with 127 Shahed-type attack UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera UAVs, and Parody-type decoy drones launched from the Russian cities of Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the occupied territories of Crimea and Donetsk. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Air defense shot down/suppressed 97 enemy Shahed-type UAVs, Gerbera UAVs, and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits by 27 attack UAVs were recorded at 22 locations, as well as the falls of downed UAVs (debris) at 3 locations.
