- the DTEK statement reads.

As the company noted, "over the weekend, Russian troops purposefully struck the energy infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region."

"After each attack, DTEK power engineers promptly restored electricity. However, on the night of June 8, the enemy struck again. 67 settlements were left without electricity — more than 30,000 families. A fire broke out at one of the facilities. It was promptly extinguished by SES rescuers," DTEK indicated.

Currently, power engineers are reportedly waiting for permission from sappers to begin restoration work.

According to data from the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganzha, from evening until morning in the Dnipro region, the enemy attacked four districts of the region 40 times with drones and artillery; four people were injured. According to him, in Dnipro specifically, transport infrastructure, a cafe, and a private house were damaged; in the Synelnykove district — infrastructure; in Pavlohrad — an office building.

"Our crews are already working on-site: inspecting equipment, clearing debris, and starting restoration work. Repairs will take time. Power engineers are doing everything possible to return electricity to homes as quickly as possible," DTEK stated.
