Over the past day, more than 170 battles took place on the front, the enemy launched 77 air strikes - General Staff

Over the past day, March 31, 171 combat engagements were recorded at the front. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy launched 77 air strikes, dropping 226 guided aerial bombs. Also, 9636 kamikaze drones were used and 3804 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops were carried out, including 106 from multiple launch rocket systems.

In addition, the enemy carried out air strikes, particularly in the areas of settlements in Donetsk region - Oleksandrivka, in Dnipropetrovsk region - Havrylivka, Pokrovske; in Zaporizhzhia, Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Yehorivka, Dolynka, Kopani, Krynivka, Nove Pole, Mykilske, Veselianka, Novooleksandrivka, Hryhorivka suffered from air strikes.

Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit six areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment.

In the Siversk and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy carried out 94 shellings of Ukrainian troops' positions and settlements over the past day, including three using MLRS. One combat engagement was recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy tried three times to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory and towards Okhrimivka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of Nova Kruhliakivka and Novoosinove.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked six times, trying to penetrate our defense, attacking towards Drobysheve, Lyman and in the area of the settlements of Serednie, Nadiia.

In the Sloviansk direction, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders stopped six attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Zakitne, Riznykivka and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonivka and Kalenyky.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy tried once to improve its position, assaulting towards Kostiantynivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar and towards Illinivka, Sofiivka, Mykolaipillia, Novopavlivka, Vilne and Kostiantynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 56 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Nove Shakhove, Muravka, Horikhove and towards Hryshyne, Filiia, Novooleksandrivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novomykolaivka and towards Pryvillia, Nove Zaporizhzhia.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 17 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Huliaipole, Varvarivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Myrny and towards Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Hirke, Huliaipilske, Tsvitkove.

In the Orikhiv direction, no attempts by the enemy to improve its position were observed.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out one assault action towards Bilohrudyi Island.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

The total losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1060 people. The enemy also lost two tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 59 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, 2069 unmanned aerial vehicles, 219 units of automotive equipment and two units of special equipment.
