Oleksandr Zakusylo appointed Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation – his areas of responsibility announced

The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Oleksandr Zakusylo as Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation. He will be responsible for the launch of e-Excise, e-Court, and the development of state digital systems.

Oleksandr Zakusylo has become the new Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine; he will be responsible for the implementation of digital reforms. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
Details
As noted by the agency, Zakusylo has 20 years of professional experience and joined the Ministry of Digital Transformation at the beginning of 2020.
Zakusylo graduated from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in "Protection of Restricted Information and Automation of its Processing." He is qualified as an enterprise security engineer and a tactical-level military command officer
The main areas of Zakusylo's work will be:
- launching large-scale digital reforms — eExcise, eCourt, eNotary;
- developing a unified CDTO ecosystem;
- developing the state systems Diia.Engine and Trembita;
- developing the field of open data;
- improving the web accessibility of digital platforms.

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Oleksandr Bornyakov as the acting head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation — he replaced Mykhailo Fedorov, who became the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
