According to the report, Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky said that Russian troops intend to take Chasiv Yar in eastern Ukraine by May 9, when Russia celebrates Victory Day. Syrsky noted that Chasiv Yar is a preliminary step toward the larger city of Kramatorsk.
