The German government accused US Vice President J.D. Vance of hypocrisy and refuted his accusations of Brussels interfering in the Hungarian elections. This is reported by UNN with reference to Politico.

Berlin stated that Vance's visit to Budapest shortly before the April 12 elections indicates that he himself may be involved in the elections, as he actively supported Viktor Orbán's government.
"We reject the accusation made by US Vice President J.D. Vance during his visit to Hungary regarding EU interference in Hungarian affairs," he said.

US Vice President J.D. Vance believes that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has done more to resolve the war between Russia and Ukraine than any other leader in Europe. Vance said this during a joint press conference with Orbán in Budapest.
J.D. Vance also stated that, according to him, individual representatives of the Ukrainian special services could have tried to influence electoral processes in the US and Hungary.
