HACC sets deadline for Tymoshenko to review materials in bribery case

The HACC has set a deadline for the defense to review the pre-trial investigation materials until May 24 in the case involving Yulia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of offering an improper benefit to people's deputies. This was reported by the SAPO press service, according to UNN

On April 28, 2026, at the request of NABU detectives, the HACC investigating judge set a deadline for the defense to review the pre-trial investigation materials in the case involving the head of one of the parliamentary factions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

- the report states.

The SAPO noted that although the prosecution requested the deadline be set for May 6, 2026, due to delays by the defense in the review process, the court decided to set the deadline for May 24, 2026, inclusive.

From that time, the defense will be considered to have exercised its right to access the pre-trial investigation materials. On April 7, 2026, the SAPO and NABU completed the investigation in this case and provided the pre-trial investigation materials to the defense for review

 - the SAPO added.

From the case materials, it is known that this refers to People's Deputy and head of the "Batkivshchyna" faction, Yulia Tymoshenko.

Addendum

NABU and SAPO notified the head of the parliamentary faction of the suspicion on January 14.

Following this, the HACC determined a preventive measure for the leader of the "Batkivshchyna" party, Yulia Tymoshenko, in the form of bail amounting to 33.28 million UAH. Tymoshenko stated that she was assisted in posting the 33 million UAH bail.

SAPO and NABU completed the investigation in the case involving the head of the parliamentary faction.
