For the first time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has admitted that the country is behind the bombing of pagers and radios of Hezbollah militants in Lebanon and Syria. The Times of Israel reports this, according to UNN.

A day after the massive pager bombings in Lebanon, a new series of explosions occurred - Hezbollah radio stations detonated. The explosions took place in the south of the country and in the suburbs of Beirut, one of them occurred near the funerals of the victims of the previous explosions.
According to ABC News, Israel was involved in the pager bombings in Lebanon, preparing the operation for at least 15 years. Front companies and explosives in the devices were used, resulting in hundreds of injured Hezbollah members.
Meanwhile, President Yitzhak Herzog rejected accusations of Israeli involvement in the bombing of Hezbollah pagers and radios in Lebanon. He claimed that Israel was only defending itself and was not seeking war with Lebanon.
