On Saturday, May 16, the final of the 70th anniversary Eurovision Song Contest 2026 kicks off in the Austrian capital, Vienna. UNN explains when and where to watch the contest's semi-finals, as well as who the bookmakers' favorites are.

Eurovision 2026 - when the final will take place

The final of the 70th anniversary Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna, Austria, at the largest multifunctional concert and sports complex, the Wiener Stadthalle, on Saturday, May 16. The arena previously hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015.

Eurovision Final - main participants

In the final of Eurovision 2026, viewers will see 25 artists. Danish singer Søren Torpegaard Lund will perform first with the song "Før Vi Går Hjem".

The bookmakers' favorite is the Finnish group, given a 43% chance of winning; Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen with the song "Liekinheitin" will perform at number 17.

The Austrian performer COSMÓ will close the contest with the song "Tanzschein".

                                                    Who are the favorites for the Eurovision final

                                                    As already mentioned, the favorite of the Eurovision tournament is Finland with a 43% chance of winning. Second place is predicted for Australia and performer Delta Goodrem with the song "Eclipse". Her victory is given a 15% chance. 

                                                    Meanwhile, Greece, which was previously ranked second, has moved to third place with an 8% chance of winning. The country is represented at the contest by singer Akylas with the composition "Ferto".

                                                    Ukraine, which was given 11th place before the start of the contest, is now predicted to take 12th place with a 1% chance of winning.
