A loan for the development of medicine: The Council of Europe Development Bank has approved its first project with Ukraine worth EUR 100 million.

The Council of Europe Development Bank, on November 17, approved a a loan of EUR 100 million to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to restore healthcare infrastructure and meet urgent needs.

This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of of Ministers of Ukraine.

According to the document, preferential financing will be used to implement urgent measures to restore the stable operation of the healthcare system. Also, the program will help restore and modernize the network of medical facilities in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine that were destroyed or damaged as a result of hostilities. In addition, the Project will expand the range of medical services and access to them.
