The second semi-final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest 2024, taking place in Malmö, Sweden, will be held on Thursday, May 9, at 10:00 PM. Where to watch and who will perform was announced by "Suspilne Eurovision," writes UNN.

At the Malmö Arena, 16 participants of the second semi-final will compete for the right to enter the list of finalists. Ukraine does not vote tonight.
Suspilne Broadcasting will broadcast the second semi-final of Eurovision 2024 live on all platforms - television, digital, and radio.
Where to watch the second semi-final of Eurovision 2024
Television. Half an hour before the broadcast of the second semi-final, at 9:30 PM, the program "Preshow. Eurovision Song Contest 2024" will begin on the Suspilne Kultura TV channel. The hosts of the new episode will be Timur Miroshnychenko and singer and music producer of the National Selection for Junior Eurovision 2023 Svitlana Tarabarova.
The guests of the second episode will be:
- alyona alyona & Jerry Heil - representatives of Ukraine at Eurovision 2024;
- Anna Tulyeva - host of "Eurovision Diaries" and vlogs about the song contest on the Eurovision Ukraine YouTube channel;
- Herman Nenov - stage director of Luxembourg's performance at Eurovision 2024. Creative director of Eurovision 2023 from Ukraine and the National Selection for Junior Eurovision 2023.
- Slava Dyomin - showman, blogger, radio and TV presenter.
The live broadcast of the second semi-final of Eurovision 2024 will begin on the Suspilne Kultura TV channel at 10:00 PM. Timur Miroshnychenko, the unchanging voice of the song contest in Ukraine, will comment on the show.
To ensure inclusivity, the video broadcast will be accompanied by sign language translation.
Radio. The broadcast of the second semi-final of the song contest on the airwaves of Radio Promin will begin at 10:00 PM, and the pre-show at 9:30 PM.
Digital platforms. The "Preshow" and the second semi-final can also be watched on:
- the websites of Suspilne Kultura and Suspilne Eurovision;
- Facebook pages of Eurovision Ukraine, Suspilne Broadcasting, Suspilne Kultura, Pershyi, and Radio Promin;
- on the Eurovision Ukraine YouTube channel at 9:30 PM, watch the "Preshow," and from 10:00 PM, listen and watch Timur Miroshnychenko's work live from the commentary studio.
Who will perform in the second semi-final of Eurovision 2024
Participants of the second semi-final will compete for a spot in the grand final of the song contest on May 9:
In addition to the 16 participants who will compete for a spot in the final of the song contest, during the second semi-final, viewers will also see full performances of three "Big Five" countries that automatically qualify for the final: France, Spain, and Italy.
Star performances in the second semi-final
In the second semi-final, the show will continue to be hosted by TV presenter Petra Mede and actress Malin Åkerman.
Eurovision stars Elena Paparizou, Sertab Erener, and Charlotte Perrelli will try to get the whole world singing along through The World's Biggest Sing-Along.
The organizers also announced a musical performance by Petra Mede titled We Just Love Eurovision Too Much.

Ukraine advanced to the Eurovision 2024 final based on the results of the first semi-final, which concluded late on Tuesday, May 7, in Malmö, Sweden.
According to the draw that took place immediately after the first semi-final, alyona alyona & Jerry Heil drew the "producer's choice" category — one of the innovations of this year's show. Thus, the order of appearance of the Ukrainian representatives on the stage of the Eurovision 2024 grand final now depends solely on the show's producers, who will place their performance in the first or second part of the final at their discretion.
Representatives from 37 countries are participating in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest. The second semi-final of Eurovision 2024 will take place on May 9, and the grand final of the contest will be held on Saturday, May 11. In total, 20 participants will be selected from the two semi-finals for the grand final, joined on May 11 by representatives of countries that automatically qualify for the final: this year, these are Sweden, as the host country, as well as the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, and France, as the "Big Five" countries.
