Air defense destroyed 17 of 22 enemy UAVs of the "Shahed" type at night. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.

On the night of March 18, 2024, russian forces attacked the territory of Ukraine, using 5 S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles in Kharkiv region, as well as 2 X-59 guided missiles in Sumy region.
Additionally, the occupiers used 22 Shahed-type attack drones for the attack.
As a result of the hostilities, 17 Shaheds were shot down in Kyiv, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia and Rivne regions.
