Zelenskyy, Zaluzhnyi and Fedorov lead in Ukrainians’ electoral preferences — poll

According to a poll by the Rating Group conducted on August 5–6, Zelenskyy has 25.2% support, Zaluzhnyi — 16.7%, and Fedorov — 12.5%. They are followed by Budanov, Poroshenko and Razumkov.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and former Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov remain the leaders in Ukrainians’ electoral preferences. This is shown by the results of a survey of the Ukrainian population on socio-political issues conducted by the Rating sociological group on August 5–6, 2026, UNN reports.

Thus, the top three leaders in electoral preferences are Volodymyr Zelenskyy (25.2%), Valerii Zaluzhnyi (16.7%), and Mykhailo Fedorov (12.5%).

They are followed by Kyrylo Budanov (7.9%), Petro Poroshenko (5.6%), Dmytro Razumkov (2.8%), Yulia Tymoshenko (2.4%), Andrii Biletskyi (2.2%), Serhii Prytula (1.7%), and Yurii Boiko (1.7%). At the same time, 3.9% of respondents would vote for another candidate, 5.5% would not take part in the vote, while the rest (11.9%) answered, "difficult to say."

Fifty-six percent trust the newly appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapatyi, while 12% do not trust him. Another 23% answered that they had not heard of him, and 9% said, "difficult to say." The majority of respondents (70%) said they had not heard of Serhii Koretskyi, the newly appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine, while another 8% chose "difficult to say." Ten percent trust him, while 12% do not trust him
